Budger airlines in India

Am I dreaming or is this for real? India is on its way to get a slew of airlines under the budget travel category. Already Air Deccan has been making waves since its start one and half years ago. It has recently come up with Re 1/- travel that is to be made compulsory atleast on 4 seats in their flight for the next six months. Close on the heels arrives Kingfisher Airlines from the Mallaya camp. In the coming years, we'll be seeing companies like Spice Air, Go Air, Indigo, Indus One and Air One looking to grab their share of the market. No wonder, India's aviation sector has made a big leap and it is a significant thing to happen in India as flying by air is no more going to be a luxury. Having lived in the UK and travelled in the likes of BMIBaby, I am really longing to try out our airlines when I get the chance. But for the time being, I can just envy all those people back home who are going to take off soon to various places to have a gala time.
