Learning the Chinese langauge has become widespread nowadays in India. It has to do with the recent trade level agreements signed by both the countries. Already around 30 IT companies have made their presence felt on the other side of the border. Even if it's not for a job, it will be useful to learn Mandarin to do business with China.
