Immigration issue

Time and again this issue crops up around the world and is relentlessly answered by the various studies and research done by leading organisations. This is no different in mainland Europe. The problem with such an issue is that most people are naive and malinformed. Many studies conducted on this topic have confirmed that genuine and skilled migration leads to growth and economic prosperity of the respective country. Because of the less informed knowledge of the people on immigration, politicians appearing to be responsive to the popularly held beliefs churn out poor policies. Immigration to most European countries is similar to immigration to the US, which has a huge foreign-born population. UK has one of the most ethnically diverse population in Europe and signs of immigrants flocking to its shores is a sign of strength rather than that of weakness. There should be a proper line drawn between legal and illegal immigration. There are so many voices around the world echoing this tone and hope the world leaders pay heed to it.
